HIV/ AIDS Awareness Camp
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) targets the immune system and weakens people's defense against many infections and some types of cancer that people with healthy immune systems can fight off. The most advanced stage of HIV infection is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), which can take many years to develop if not treated, depending on the individual. With the objective of protecting and spreading knowledge about the disease to local communities, students and every individual we organize awareness programs and camps, Street plays to spread the message of wiping out the disease from the country. We also conduct 'Street lay' competition to spread awareness and aware them about the preventive measures to be taken among the youngsters as well as in the society. It is important that they know about the precautions that should be taken to prevent the disease. This strategy has helped broaden the appeal of its messages and gain acceptance for the programme among the local population.
Prevention of Alcoholism & Substance Drugs Abuse Program
Alcohol and Substance Drugs Abuse has emerged as a serious concern in India and adversely affecting the socio-economic conditions as well. No part in this world is free from this nuisance. This not only affect the country but also affect the well beings of families. According to the latest report 16 crore people (14.6%) between the age of 10 and 75 years are current users of alcohol, and out of them, 5.2% are alcohol dependents, It is estimated that about 8.5 lakh people are injecting drugs. Our organization spread awareness programs among school and college students in urban areas. In association with local rehabilitation centres, we have arranged training programs and target youth, high risk groups, dependent women and young girls. Organise workshop on Drug De-Addiction indifferent areas such as villages, secondary schools and prisoners in juvenile homes. We also concentrate on to keep the young away from drugs and help them canalise their energies for personal and economic growth by cheering them to follow their passion and interest. Also we believe families have a powerful influence on shaping the attitudes, values and behavioural patterns of any individual by this we give attention to educate them about the ill-affect of drugs and alcohol consumption. Organisation has established tele-counselling services with the support of public resources and communities. We also organized Yoga and physical exercise, meditation champs to distract from the drugs consumption.
Child's Development and Disabilities
Children with development delays and disabilities are more likely to be invisible in statics. As a result the quality of health services they receive can be severely compromised, largely due to limited capacity, inadequate training of service providers, or lack of coordination between public authorities and community practitioners. We have been contributing towards improving child healthcare and development by spreading awareness on pregnancy and newborn care facilitating high-quality health care services. We runs extensive programmes in rural and urban areas to enable, equip and empower children and adults with a range of disabilities, including locomotive difficulty, spinal cord injury, speech and hearing impairments, cerebral palsy, and to some extent, mental issues. We also work to create awareness and sensitise the masses about various aspects of various disabilities.
Family Planning
Through “Hum Do” aims to provide eligible couples with information and guidance on family planning methods and services available, to ensure individuals and couples lead a healthy, happy and prosperous life. By counseling we are indulge into support woman and save lives and accelerates sustainable human and economic development. Our organization has been contributing towards National Family Planning Program in multiple villages. By our social marketing plan we are able to increase awareness and access among communities, counseling on FP methods. Increased awareness of the importance of preconception care can be achieved through public outreach and improved collaboration between health care providers. We are working towards to empower women and girls to take charge of their own health, enabling them to make informed decisions about family planning and have access to contraceptive options that meet their needs. We also aims to train and accredit health facilities. We also conducted Training programs of Medical Officers, Gynaecologists & Specialists on Latest Updates on Mini-Lap Sterilization Method. Main objective has been to impart knowledge & skills among participants about latest technique of the sterilization method. Concentrating on women with lower levels of education and income, are less likely to have access to family planning services. Educating them making them well aware about the health conditions by advertising the programmes run by the government, Street Plays and counseling them through door to door.
